Who I Am
Hi, I hope you are having a great day! My name is Juliana, or Juli for short, and I am a translator! I will be happy to assist you with any linguistic needs you may have.
I graduated from a four-year program in Translation Studies in Argentina, where I was trained to fulfil both intralingual and interlingual roles related to texts and creations. Through various text types and countless hours of research, I discovered the specialisations I like the most: agricultural, commercial, astronomical, and sports translations.
I’m proficient in English, skilled in writing and editing, and experienced in using Trados, and OmegaT. Additionally, solving complex and puzzling pieces of writing is one of the things I enjoy most about my career, which is why I see myself as someone creative, quick to resolve problems, and proactive in finding solutions.

This involves adapting the translation to meet the specific needs of a country or region, modifying idioms and local references, and considering audience preferences. By doing this, localization ensures the content resonates naturally within its cultural contex.

This process goes beyond the word-by-word translation, helping to create a new text in which the original text's intention, sensations, emotions, and ideas are transmitted
Transcreation
This is the last stage of content production, where it is assessed word-by-word. It involves checking and correcting any mechanical writing issues (grammatical, or spelling errors, incorrect punctuation and syntax,). The goal is to give the text a final polish, and ensure its coherence.
